East London Community Centre / Library
London, Ontario
2003
Project Undertaken at IBI Group
Working with the City of London and the London Library Board, principals of Sierra Planning prepared an analysis and business case for the development of a large-scale library branch facility in the eastern portion of the City.
The study included a community needs assessment which identified demand for a multi-use facility with various components including a daycare, community association space and a fitness centre. The needs assessment also confirmed the locational requirements, capital costs, potential operating costs and wider benefits to the recreation community and City at large.
Status: East London Community Centre and Library constructed 2004.
